Pizza Party Wedding at Pan Bushwick

I first came across Sophie’s botanical art at Sally Roots in Bushwick & have been a WifeNYC fan girl ever since. Years later when she got engaged and reached out to me, I squealed inside. Sophie doesn’t do florals for weddings, except for her own, so I knew this would be a rare exhibit of their work in this way, and am deeply honored that they chose me to capture it.

Then got to meet Micah and became a fan girl of his work too. Holy shit these two. A lot of my clients are artists, but to meet a pair who create such defining & different art from one another that happens to work together in visual harmony is a rare occurrence. Micah’s candelabras and Sophie’s botanicals are painfully perfect together.

They got married at Pan, a chill, delish wood-fired pizza & pasta place in Bushwick, Brooklyn. It’s cozy and pretty, has gorgeous light, you can party all night, the staff is rad, & the food is great.

Enjoy the feast of design because this is what happens when you let artists run free. They repurposed a massive white parachute by draping the outdoor space with it and filling every space with their beautiful pieces.
