A Low Rider and Spaghetti, Baby
This wedding hit all the right marks. Kitties, a pimped-out convertible low-rider with hydraulics (their neighbors' whip), and damn good pasta and wine.
Most Brooklynites know about the neighborhood staple, Aurora BK but may not think of it for weddings. However, it's perfect for small & intimate events and it doesnt need much in terms of design & over-the-top florals because, on its own, the space is warm, gorgeous, cozy, and welcoming. I’ve always preferred events at restaurants because they already have an emphasis on food, drink & hospitality, and since it's their own house & staff, everything tends to run smoothly, and thats pretty cool.
And then there's the food and wine - ah - chefs kiss. As a vendor, I often get shafted with careless, craptastic cafeteria food, but at Aurora, they never miss.
