A High ABV Wedding on 35mm Film at Eagle Point Retreat
Sammy & Murph had originally planned to get married at another venue, but a freak tornado destroyed it two months before the wedding. As if standing in the eye of that storm, they kept their poise and miraculously found that Eagle Point Retreat right across the Chesapeake Bay had an opening on their date. Crisis: Averted. Pig-Roast: On.
When I arrived the day of, I was delighted to see that one of their drinks on the menu was a recipe I had given them during our portrait session. Come cocktail hour, it was time for me to test out how the bartenders were doing. What was supposed to be a margarita-esq spritz had transformed into a high-ABV punch to the brain... they forgot the soda water.
